Good Customer Relationships is the key!

KMS have been providing CRM solutions for the Construction industry for over 15 years. As CRM advocates, we are keen to practice what we preach; taking care of customers is good for business.

Of KMS's customers, 25 have been using their CRM solution for over 10 years, and of these 7 have been using the solution in excess of 14 years. In fact these 25 companies have used KMS solutions in excess of 250 company years between them!! Amongst these 25 companies we are thus talking about a staggering 250,000+ user years of using KMS solutions!!

These customers have lived with KMS solutions through the DOS era, entering the early days of Windows 3.1 right up to the latest versions of Windows Vista and Windows Server.  They have seen changes whereby installation originally was performed using floppy disks, through to CD’s, DVD’s and lately remote/network support.

How have KMS managed to retain such a large number of customers, for such a long period of time? Well part of it has to be to do with our software. Basically it does exactly what it sets out to do: that is, service the needs of CRM within the Construction Industry. When CRM was in its infancy (circa 1998/2000) KMS had already established themselves as a strong force in Sales and Marketing software focussed upon the Construction Industry.

KMS are close to the market; we spend time with our customers, establishing their business models, listening to their issues to understand how their businesses operate. We use this knowledge to customise their chosen CRM solution so that it works around their business to meet their needs. By understanding our customers and keeping abreast of technological developments, we are able to continually improve our systems and meet the changing needs of our customers over time. Hence systems that were once installed manually on individual computers can now be deployed on laptops, handheld devices and accessed via the internet. The software is increasingly powerful to enable more sophisticated tracking of leads, management of campaigns and reporting.

At KMS we treat our customers as individuals; we respond to their requirements and work together to specify the system, train staff, and handle their questions via our responsive helpdesk team. We like to keep in touch regularly, and work together to ensure that the customer is getting the most out of their investment.
